Adenosine deaminase is a purine catabolic enzyme ubiquitous in mammalian tissue which catalyzes deamination of both adenosine and 2'-deoxyadenosine to inosine and 2'-deoxyinosine respectively.

Stability/Storage: Stable ≥6 months when stored at 2-8°C.

Unit Definition
One Unit converts one micromole of adenosine to inosine per minute at 25°C, pH 7.4.
